What Controlly keeps, and for how long

• Your panel account: Discord ID, name, avatar and server list (scopes "identify" and "guilds"; never your email). Discord tokens are encrypted. Kept while you use the panel; a session lasts 30 days.
• Server settings: module configuration and structure backups (roles, channels, permissions, no messages), kept while the bot is on the server.
• Tickets: transcript, form answers, rating. Deleted 365 days after the ticket is closed.
• Moderation: sanctions kept while the bot is on the server; automod infractions deleted after 90 days.
• Engagement: levels and XP; invite history, deleted after 365 days; giveaway entries, deleted 365 days after the end.
• Statistics: hourly counters, no message content.
• Panel activity log: actions with a hashed IP address, deleted after 365 days.

Server logs are only posted in the channel chosen by the server and are not stored. When the bot leaves a server, all its data is erased 30 days later unless the bot is invited back.

Why

To provide the service requested by server administrators (contract) and for the safety and moderation of their communities (legitimate interest). No data is sold, used for advertising or to train AI.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, or object to processing: contact@papery.my or the Papery Discord (support ticket). We answer within one month. You may also contact your data protection authority.
